Braun Wins Republican Primary for Governor
Morales Leads in Democratic Mayoral Race
As of 10:15 pm EDT, Republican candidate Eric Braun has secured the GOP nomination for Indiana Governor. Braun has garnered 55% of the vote, while his closest rival, Diego Morales, has received 39%. Libertarian candidate James Maurer trails with 6%. In the Indianapolis mayoral race, incumbent Democrat Joe Hogsett has emerged victorious with a third term. Hogsett defeated Republican challenger John Wurtz, who had invested heavily in his campaign. Polls in Indiana closed at 6 pm EDT, and results continue to be tallied.
